FAQs

  • Yes and yes. We are licensed by the State of TN and have a dedicated and distinguished Board of Directors.

  • Yes. We will accept all people into our program if they are a good fit for IOP. We do not prescribe medication, but we do have a Medical Director (Dr. Bruce Allsop), who is available for medical consultations. We maintain relationships with outside providers who prescribe.

  • We have scholarship funds and financial sponsors available for people who can truly not afford quality treatment. We do not want money to ever be a reason for an individual to not come through our program. However, we want to ensure that our scholarship funds go towards someone who truly cannot pay, not just for those who do not want to pay.

We also challenge our participants to pay something, to learn to be responsible and “at stake” for their recovery.

  • Many of our staff members have worked in the secular arena and have noticed that addiction can be seen as something that is mainly biological or genetic. We have also seen faith-based organizations give over-simplified answers to people who have complex traumas and causes for using. Both can have a tendency to be too reductionistic.

At Renew Clinic, we believe that all truth is God’s truth. He has given us divine revelation in scripture to show us our human condition, our identity as image bearers of God, who God is (and his character), and His plan of redemption. We filter all clinical modalities through the lens of scripture.

We also believe that God has given the clinical community insight and knowledge on the complexity of the human condition and an understanding of cause and effect in human behavior and thought.
