Renew’s Freedom Coaching

  • I have 25 years of experience with  leading and encouraging women in different groups and churches, and while working as a fitness trainer and coach for 12 years. I have mentored and counseled women of all ages through many kinds of struggles. My passion is encouraging women to see hope in their lives, no matter how hopeless they feel. I enjoy spending time with my husband and best friend of 30 years. We love to travel, cook, fish, and spend time with our three adult kids who live in Florida.

  • It is my experience that our identity in Christ and biblical scripture is sufficient for overcoming the bondage of addiction. The transforming power of the Highest Power of all powers has proven to be the way out for many. I can be referred to as a Renew coach, a sponsor, or a spiritual advisor but I just consider myself to be part of the ministry of setting captives free.

  • Jai Jordan is a native of Brazil who grew up in a small town in Bahia. Later in life, she moved to the city of Corumbá, MS where she met her American husband. At the time, she worked as a volunteer for Global Encourager’s Ministries and served as a translator and nurses’ aid during mission trips. She also participated in local missions and was a youth leader along with her husband who served as missionary in Brazil.

    Jai is a graduate from Renew and would love to be used by God to minister to those who struggle with addiction. As a participant in the program, she felt led to serve others in the same way that Renew Clinic have supported her. When she was offered the opportunity to help with coaching and help as our Renewed Women’s coordinatior, she felt that it was her chance to bless others. 

    In 2009, Jai moved to USA with her husband to his hometown near Knoxville, TN where they still live. They have a son, Nolan and a bernedoodle, Sasha.

  • My greatest joy is to encourage people in their walk with the Lord!  I was drawn to Renew because of our shared love of Christ and our mission to see people walk in freedom from addiction. 

    I was raised in a household of addiction and divorce.  I love to see families reunited and parents be free to be the parents they desire for their children. 

    I have had many roles in life including administration, teacher, blogger, coach, mother of two, and wife (32 years). 

    Right now, God has me teaching something different than reading, writing, and arithmetic, "Walking in Freedom".  I am still learning, too.  I enjoy being a lifetime learner, sitting at the feet of Jesus, the best teacher ever! 

  • I am a Child of the Living God, loving Husband and Father to 3 young ones. Born and raised in Southern California; I have now lived on the East Coast for the past 12 years. I grew up in a Christian home but didn’t fully know the Gospel until my early 30’s. I struggled tremendous with numerous substances and it was by the Grace of God alone that I am being transformed from my former life. This new partnership with GAP Community and Freedom in Christ is a powerful force that I am truly privileged to be part of. I’m so excited to step into more and more intriguing conversations with clients as we continue to take back ground & expand The Kingdom of Christ!

  • Hey! My name is Kerri. I grew up in a home where substance abuse and addiction had roots that ran deep. I walked alongside my aunt during her recovery after an inpatient stay in a rehab facility, shortly followed by my dad being admitted into an inpatient facility as well. I have always found my heart was drawn to the recovery world. Unfortunately after watching the people I loved on a path of destruction, my late teens and early twenties were riddled with my own experience of abusing substances. By the grace of God I was picked up and turned around and now I am being given the opportunity to walk alongside others in their own story of recovery. I have recently walked through a 12 step recovery program at my church called Regeneration and the freedom that has come from pursuing my own healing in Christ has been life changing.   

    I am a wife and a mother to three little boys. Along with recovery, I have a passion for getting moms of young children together to fellowship and to do life together while being in the throes of motherhood. 

  • Hi!  My name is Laura.  I have a heart for listening to, serving, and loving people.  God so kindly gave me a playful spirit.  Being outside and playing with family are my favorites.  I am so thankful for the life God has gifted me, and I'm excited for "the next" God has for me with Renew.  I look forward to meeting you!

  • I have been striving to follow Jesus for 45 years. Married for 44 years with 2 kids & spouses and 7 grandkids who all live in Knoxville. Mostly retired physician. I am a Renew coach because it is a joy to walk with people as they grow in their knowledge of the Lord and understanding of what it means to be created in His image.

  • I have always had a passion for helping, encouraging, and listening to people whether in a work or personal environment. I have worked with many backgrounds and enjoy seeing the reward when they have accomplished a goal or become more confident, stronger, or successful. In my spare time, I cheer on the soccer sidelines for my daughter, and enjoy family time with my 2 older sons and husband.

  • I have been a biblical counselor for over 10 years and led recovery and support groups surrounding issues of addiction, grief and relationship struggles. In the past few years, I've become a certified Enneagram coach walking with others as they discover the deepest parts of their personality. I'm passionate about helping people take their next step or their first step--which is often the hardest to do alone. When I'm not working with people, I'm working out at my CrossFit gym or at home with my dog, Scout.

  • Hi. My name is Kathy Hall.  I started a journey of following Jesus nearly 40 years ago.  Along this journey He gifted me with my husband, two sons, two daughters-in-love, and five precious grandchildren. Life has been (and is) both beautiful and hard- with challenges all along the way.  But my message is this: GOD HAS BEEN AND WILL FOREVER BE FAITHFUL!

    My passion and reason for becoming a coach is to help others realize the truth of this verse:

  • I am the first graduate of Renew, and I consider myself blessed to be able to give back to others the way I have been helped along my journey.

    Professionally, I have served others in public education for 30 years. I have been a classroom teacher, administrator, and an adjunct professor for undergraduate and graduate students striving to become educators. I am married to my high school sweetheart, although we got married years later. I love spending time with handsome (my husband), our teenage son, and our 5 animals.

  • The mountains are calling! Born and raised in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Jillian developed a deep-rooted love for nature and hiking early in life. In 2009, another mountain range called.

    Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National park, Knoxville has given her new life. It was here that she earned her Master of Science in Mathematics and met her husband at the University of Tennessee before welcoming their son in 2017.

    Years later, the Lord surrounded her with a community of believers who helped her return to her first love. "I lift up my eyes to the mountains - where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth." ~Psalm 121:1-2

    Once a codependent people-pleaser, Jillian now embraces the freedom found in Christ's victory on the cross. One of the most profound lessons Jillian has learned in coming to Christ emanates from John 16:33: "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." Christ did not despise the cross, and neither will we. Through rigorous honesty with ourselves, God, and others, we will experience the peace and joy that Christ gifted us on that cross. Whether on the mountain trail or in the everyday moments of life, it would be a pleasure to walk with you on this journey.
